Chestnut Festival in Rodik – Rodik, Western Slovenia

The Chestnut festival, held in the small Karst village Rodik is a must-visit for chestnut lovers. This forest fruit is very popular in Slovenia and is usually enjoyed cooked or roasted, but due to its special, delicious taste, it is used also in various dishes.
