Kranjska klobasa (Carniolan sausage) festival – Lake Zbilje (Medvode), Central Slovenia

Kranjska klobasa (Carniolan sausage) is probably the best known Slovenian dish.  Since  2015 it has been  PGI certified  (protected geographical indication), a scheme of geographical indications and Lake ZbiljeLaadwdtraditional specialties in EU.

Festival kranjske klobase is organized at the lake Zbilje, about 20 minutes drive from Ljubjjana.  This is a charity event. You are warmly welcomed to enjoy a piece of the Slovenian culinary tradition.
