Persimmon Fruit Feast – Strunjan, Western Slovenia

Strunjan, a settlement on the Slovenian coast is well-known for its special mild microclimate and excellent conditions to grow varieties of sun-loving fruits and vegetables. The Persimmon Fruit Feast is celebrating this beautiful fruit, the land, and local culinary and cultural traditions.
This food event will be accompanied by art and cultural performances, lectures, and competition for the biggest persimmon of Strunjan.

Its location in the bay area between towns of Izola and Piran offers great opportunities to explore surrounding areas of the Slovenian coast.
