Rebula and Olive Oil Festival – Višnjevik, Western Slovenia

Rebula and Olive Oil Festival is a traditional wine and food festival which takes place every spring in Višnjevik, a small village in one of the finest Slovenian wine regions Brda. Višnjevik is a native place of Rebula and it was first mentioned in the local books already in the 14th century.

Rebula makes usually light, fresh wines. Lately, the grape has been successfully used for sparkling wines. The event also celebrates local olives and olive products which will be served along with other local delicacies.
