Wine tour in the tunnels under Kranj is an exciting wine event held in the tunnels under the old town of Kranj, a capital of the Gorenjska region in northern Slovenia. Winemakers from all Slovene wine regions will be present and some from abroad. You will be able to taste local specialties and enjoying in the unusual, yet interesting atmosphere of the venue.
Kranj is worth to visit. It is the fourth largest Slovenian city, with the well-preserved city centre, some interesting historic buildings and museums of France Prešeren. Prešeren (1800- 1849) is considered the most important Slovene poet and main figure of the Slovenian Romanticism. His poem Zdravljica was declared the national anthem of Slovenia during independence.
